Martial arts

Martial arts were developed in China over the centuries and cover a wide spectrum, the general name is Wushu ``martial art``, Wu meaning Martial, Wu Gong meaning martial art - time/effort, if you are interested in Kung Fu, Tai Chi or Kickboxing please click on the link in the classes menu

Our Classes

We offer junior, adult and private classes at our Canterbury Centre, and other locations in Kent. We teach Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Ju Jitsu, Wing chun, Olympic freestyle wrestling and self defence.

Fitness & Sports

Keeping fit benefits weight management, efficient functioning of the heart, improved blood circulation, and lower stress levels. It helps in the toning of muscles and strengthening of bones.

Barry Phelan: 2014 World Tai Chi Champion

Barry Phelan teaches the Chinese martial arts classes in Canterbury; Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Kung fu, Wing Chun and kickboxing. He holds a 4th degree black belt in both Kung fu and kickboxing.
